DrivePilot.
Project / 01A focused operating platform for driving schools. My first product through AMlabs, built around the details of everyday work.
An AMlabs product
Context
DrivePilot is the first product I’m building through AMlabs. It focuses on driving schools, starting in Luxembourg: a specific industry with its own scheduling, administrative, and compliance requirements.
The problem
Lessons depend on the availability of students, instructors, and vehicles. The surrounding work includes documents, invoices, reminders, and compliance tracking. DrivePilot brings these connected workflows into one platform.
My contribution
I’m developing the product across the stack: backend services, web interfaces, mobile applications, and the shared foundations they use. The work includes tenant isolation, scheduling constraints, student and instructor management, and invoicing workflows.
Technical approach
An ASP.NET Core API and PostgreSQL support the application. Database exclusion constraints protect against scheduling conflicts, and SignalR carries real-time calendar updates. React and TypeScript power the web application, with Expo for the mobile application.
Shared contracts and localisation support consistency between applications. The platform includes multilingual interfaces and separate experiences for school users and platform administration.
Where it stands
DrivePilot is in development, bringing the core workflows together across web and mobile applications. The focus is a connected daily working environment for driving schools in Luxembourg.
Project perspective
Building a connected platform for scheduling, student management, and driving school operations.
