I’m Alírio Mendes, an independent software engineer based in Luxembourg. I build across the stack, with an interest in the connection between good engineering and the way people actually work.

My experience spans mobile applications, a no-code SaaS platform, e-commerce, and cloud-based systems. Working with different technologies and teams has taught me to start with the problem, understand the constraints, and choose an approach that fits.

I enjoy the work between disciplines: discussing requirements, collaborating with designers and backend teams, reviewing code, and helping other developers. Software works best when those conversations are part of the process.

I’ve provided freelance software development services since 2023. Today, AMlabs brings that work and my own product development together. DrivePilot is my first product: operational software for driving schools, built around the details of their daily work.
